Tears For a New Day
Jordan Overturf was born in Houston, Texas, and grew up between there and the DFW Metroplex. He received his bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Houston in 2007. After working freelance for several magazines and newspapers, Jordan finally settled in Temple, Texas, where he is the entertainment reporter for the Temple Daily Telegram. As a budding photographer, Jordan has covered live music all over Texas. In Sept. 2011, he and his wife, Hope, a local artist, took a mission trip to Zambia to help the staff at New Day Orphanage. Hope painted several murals and signs and Jordan wrote several articles on the experience. It was the first of what will hopefully become many trips abroad in service of God.

WALL ART
Since opening in May of 2010, Bodega Bean has featured several local artists by showcasing their work on our walls each month. We are always looking for artists to show their paintings, mixed media or photography. Some pieces are for sale, but all give Bodega a unique atmosphere and flavor all its own.
